Jan Piet Puype (1939) is onafhankelijk onderzoeker. Tot 2004 was hij hoofdconservator in het Koninklijk Nederlands Legermuseum te Delft.

Harm Stevens (1969) is conservator in het Rijksmuseum te Amsterdam. Van 2002 tot 2009 was hij conservator blanke wapens en harnassen in het Koninklijk Nederlands Legermuseum te Delft.

Arms and Armour of Knights and Landsknechts

This book presents over 100 objects of arms and armour of 1100-1550 in the Royal Netherlands Army Museum. Technical descriptions and discussions detail form, material, construction, dating and tactical use. Each object is illustrated with photographs. Drawings clarify terminology, construction and use.

Jan Piet Puype (1939) is independent scholar. Until 2004 he was chief curator of the Royal Netherlands Army Museum in Delft.

Harm Stevens (1969) is curator in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam. From 2002 to 2009 he was curator of edged weapons and armour in the Royal Netherlands Army Museum, Delft.

Jan Piet Puype was chief curator of the Royal Netherlands Army Museum in Delft and is coauthor of Lexicon of Hilted Weapons in Four Languages. Harm Stevens is curator of the department of history at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
