This piece of work is focused on the concept of glide path that was introduced to prevent the risk of instrument fracture. It is the starting point of radicular preparations. Without it, cleaning and shaping becomes unpredictable or impossible because there is no guide for endodontic mechanics.The Glide path is necessary for quality control. Sustainable excellent endodontic obturation are not possible without it. So it can be rightly said that "Endododntic glide path is the secret of radicular safety and marks the path of modern endodontics".

O Dr. Anil K Tomer fez a graduação do KGMC Lucknow e a pós-graduação do Instituto de Ciências Médicas, BHU em Dentisteria Conservadora e Endodontia. É um dos principais Endodontistas em Ghaziabad (U.P) e um Pioneiro em Endodontia Cirúrgica. Actualmente, trabalha como Professor e Chefe na Faculdade e Hospital Dentária Divya Jyoti.
