This book is a compilation of the basic aspects of the most relevant benign bone tumors in the period from childhood to early adolescence.It analyses the aspects that can be assessed in the diagnosis when faced with a tumour, by means of conventional radiology, CT and MRI imaging tests. The most notorious characteristics of benign cartilaginous and bone-forming bone tumors are detailed, as well as bone cysts and fibrous lesions. Also, a multidisciplinary approach is necessary in the treatment of these lesions, being necessary to understand essential concepts such as excisional biopsy or reconstructive surgery.
