Donald W. Kruse lives in a Chicago suburb with his wife of 44 years, Marilyn, and their three dogs: Itchy Rat, Sir Oscar, and Pee-Pee Harley. In addition to writing children's stories, Donald enjoys Marilyn's phenomenal cooking, reading, fishing, shooting pool (8-ball), playing Canasta, building, appliance repair, learning Spanish, and spending time with his kids and grandkids.
