Dilsa Saunders Bailey is the author of the romantic suspense series, The Sperling Chronicles. The first in the series, Dreams Thrown Away, received a nomination for the 2010 GAYA award by the Georgia Writers Association for 1st Novel. Dilsa currently lives and works as a medical services consultant in Atlanta, GA after living thirteen years in Philadelphia where the characters in most of her stories first came to life. Dilsa Saunders Bailey was intrigued by her great-grandmother's heartfelt talent for telling stories at a young age. So, at age 13, she began entertaining, educating, and enlightening through storytelling. Since then, Bailey has appeared on television, print media, and various radio stations showcasing her books. Born in South Carolina, where she lived her first 17 years, Bailey moved to New Jersey, Colorado, and then Pennsylvania before relocating permanently to Georgia. She now resides in Atlanta.
